Meet Aaron – Our New Warden at Catgill Farm!

We’re excited to introduce Aaron, who joined us just three weeks ago as our new on-site warden – and he’s already smashing it! Aaron says, “This is the best job I’ve ever had,” which is an amazing achievement after just a month.

After spending 11 years working behind a desk in IT, Aaron decided it was time for a big change. He swapped office life for the great outdoors and joined us here at Catgill Farm. From making pizzas in Cat’s Kitchen, helping with maintenance, working on the glamping pads and welcoming guests on reception, Aaron has thrown himself into every part of life at Catgill — and he’s doing an incredible job. He’s fantastic with people and always ready with a friendly smile or a helping hand!

Aaron lives on-site in his campervan along with his gorgeous German Shepherd Collie cross, Luna, who is absolutely loving her new outdoor lifestyle. With Bolton Abbey just 10 minutes away, Luna has endless space to run and play to her heart’s content.

Aaron loves hiking and walking, so Catgill really is the perfect location for him — and with the stunning Yorkshire Dales right on his doorstep, he’s making the most of every moment outdoors.

Originally from Liverpool, Aaron says the change of scenery has been just what he needed — and we’re so glad to have him here. If you see him around the site, be sure to say hi (he’ll always say hello back!) and give him a big well done — he’s doing an amazing job!
